This product has pleasant aromatic sweet smell, non-toxic environmental protection characteristics.
This product has a high boiling point and low volatile characteristics, which has a significant effect on reducing the VOC of coatings.
This product is mainly used as a high-efficiency film-forming additive for various waterborne latex and dispersion coatings, and is particularly effective in glossy and semi-glossy paints.
This product is a strong solvent of various polymers such as vinyl acetate, acrylate, styrene-acrylate, etc., with low water solubility (lower than the volatilization rate of water, which helps to swell particles), ensuring that it is completely absorbed by latex particles to form an excellent continuous coating film, thereby giving latex paint the best coalescence performance and color spreading.
Compared with ordinary film-forming additives such as TEXANOL (alcohol-12), the dosage of this product is reduced by about 30-50% under the conditions of complete film formation, the same gloss, fluidity, anti-sagging, color spreading, scrub resistance, etc.
This product has strong coalescence ability, the comprehensive film forming efficiency is increased by 1.5-2 times, and the production cost has been significantly reduced.
The minimum film-forming temperature (MFT) of this product can reach -1 °C.
After product optimization, this product can be added directly at any stage of paint making, we recommend adding it before the emulsion, or adding or adding 50% in the pigment grinding stage, so that this product and other components in the formulation system are easy to couple, better emulsification and dispersion, without affecting the stability of pigments, etc.
Packaging and Storage
This product adopts 50Kg plastic coated drum, 200Kg plastic bile drum or specified specification packaging drum.
According to the general chemical storage and transportation, stored in a dry and ventilated place for storage.
Shelf life is one year.
